Subject: - Facility for deposit of Duties & Taxes under Central Excise & Service Tax in the last week of March, 2013 – reg. 

Attention of the members of trade, industry and all others concerned are hereby invited to this Office Trade Notice No. 02/2013-Central Excise/SH, dated 26^th March, 2013 on the above subject.

It is hereby informed to all the members of trade, industry and all others concerned that the Reserve Bank of India vide their press release no. 2012-2013/1606 dated 25.03.2013 has decided that all designated branches of agency banks & RBI offices conducting Government business will keep their branches open on March 29, 30 & 31, 2013 to accept Government taxes. It is also urged to all tax payers to remit taxes well before the last date to avoid last minute rush. Facility for payment of taxes online and through selected ATMs will also be available.
