In terms of Rule 14 of Delegation of Financial Power Rules, 1978 (as amended), I, as the Head of the Department declare Shri V. Valte, Additional Commissioner, Central Excise & Service Tax as “Head of Office” and authorize him to exercise financial powers of “Head of Office” with immediate effect and until further orders.  

            I further delegate the financial powers (as shown in the table below) to Additional Commissioner, Central Excise & Service Tax, Shillong with effect from the date of issue of this order.

            1.         Recurring                                            :           ` 15,000/- in each case 

            2.         Non – recurring                                   :           ` 20,000/- in each case 

3.                  Hiring of vehicles under

            1% incremental scheme                       :           Monthly payment. 

            This is being issued in supercession of this office Order No, 08/2008 dated 19.02.2008.
